How’s that puppy doing?

According to Gentry Estes of 247Sports, Mark Richt has dismissed Isaiah Crowell from the team.

Richt told reporters, “We have a dedicated and committed group of men who are working hard to prepare for the coming season and our total focus will be directed toward the team and this effort”.

Crowell was arrested early this morning, and charged by ACC Police on a felony count of weapon in a school zone, a felony count of altered ID mark and misdemeanor count of possession/carrying a concealed weapon.

Crowell was expected to be leading rusher again for the Bulldogs going into the 2012 season after having 185 carries for 850 yards last year.

The Bulldogs did bring in two top 50 running backs in Todd Gurley and Keith Marshall.

i respect the hell out of mark richt! almost any other coach would find reasons to not dismiss him from the team.
