A Texas newspaper confuses Kevin Sumlin with Ivan Maisel

SEC Media Days waged on last week and there was massive coverage of the event. Well, this Texas newspaper may want to do a little more research on who the Texas A&M coach is before printing. A picture of Ivan Maisel, a reporter, was put up instead of Kevin Sumlin who was referenced in the blurb of the photo. To be clear, Kevin Sumlin and Ivan Maisel look NOTHING a like. Not to get racial here, but Kevin Sumlin is African American where as Ivan Maisel is Caucasian. In this case, it’s pretty easy to make a distinction between them. I’m sure it was just some intern who used the wrong photo and there was no malice intent but this mistake is hilarious none the less. We all make mistakes.
