If Jimbo Fisher and Florida State don’t win the ACC this season, it will be a disappointment, but lets all remember that this is Florida State that we are talking about.

The Seminoles have, on paper, what appears to be the best route to the national championship game EVER. While we have two of their opponents, VT and Clemson, ranked in our top 25, the Noles could easily live up to their potential and beat either one with ease. Not only that, they are basically returning their whole team.
Senior quarterback EJ Manuel is back for one last go-around, and he has basically everyone that played with him last season back this year.
The Noles defense is also returning almost everyone. For Jimbo to mess this up somehow seems like it would take a catastrophe of Clemsonic proportions.
Why Florida State should be ranked higher:
No disrespect to Virginia Tech fans or Clemson fans, but seriously, who does Florida State play that is going to give them a run for their money? It’s very rare that almost a whole team returns for a second try.
Why Florida State shouldn’t be ranked higher:
This is Florida State we are talking about here. As their fans will tell you, they’ll find some way to mess it up.
