Washington Huskies preparing for LSU with actual Tiger

The LSU Tigers have a tradition of putting their live tiger mascot right next to the tunnel that visiting teams run onto the field through.

This weekend LSU faces the visiting Washington Huskies in Death Valley. Generally the stadiums in the SEC can be pretty intimidating places for first time visiting players and LSU’s Death Valley is no exception.

Washington is prepared though. Today Huskies coach Steve Sarkisian brought in a live Tiger to put next to their practice gate to simulate the entrance next to Mike the Tiger.

You have to try everything to beat these SEC teams in their stadiums.

The cat’s name is Sheena and she is 300 pounds and 16 months old.
