4 Georgia Defenders to Miss Mizzou Game

By | September 7, 2012

Georgia S Bacarri Rambo and LB Alec Ogletree will miss Saturday’s game against SEC newcomer Missouri. The Macon Telegraph reports that neither Rambo nor Ogletree were on the plane to Columbus, Missouri.

Allegedly Rambo, an All-American in 2011, is serving a suspension for failing a drug test during Spring break after eating a pot brownie. Ogletree is serving a suspension for failing his second drug test. Both players were suspended for the season opener against Buffalo as well.

The Bulldogs will also be without CB Sanders Commings and OLB Chase Vasser. Both players are serving two-game suspensions for offseason arrests.

This game is the SEC opener for Georgia and is the first ever SEC Conference game for new SEC member Missouri. With the Defense missing four starters will the Bulldogs hand the Tigers their first SEC win or loss. Before the news that Rambo and Ogletree won’t be playing on Saturday Georgia was only a 3 point favorite.

By now, it should be obvious to everyone that Missouri was unprepared to play in the SEC!! Not only did Georgia win, we also dominated this team of lack-luster players, who didn’t seem to know what they were doing!
