As the third weekend of college football arrives, you need to make sure you are tuned in to these games.
We do take suggestions
Could there be any more hype for this game? The Vols are ranked for the first time since 2008 and behind their STAR quarterBACK Tyler Bray they have a good shot at knocking off the Gators at home. Florida is coming off of a tough win at Texas A&M and looking to prove that they are still better than the Vols after winning the last 7 meetings between the two.
After Notre Dame’s big announcement about partially joining the ACC in football soon, the Irish will be looking to prove that their 2 – 0 start isn’t a fluke and they are better than the Big 10. They’ll have to do so by knocking off the top team in the Big 10 right now Michigan State. Sparty, behind their very good defense, is looking good despite the Boise State game being closer than they would have wanted. This game should be a close one.
While Arkansas is coming off of a terrible loss that cost them a spot in the top 25, Alabama is steam rolling people. If Tyler Wilson is able to go on Saturday, the Bama defense could see their first real test from a quarterback with a great arm. If Wilson can’t go, don’t bother watching.
Stanford has won the last 3 meetings between these two teams but this year could be a lot different. Without Andrew Luck the Cardinal doesn’t have quite as good of a chance at knocking of the Trojans in prime-time. After last years overtime game, you’d be crazy to miss this one … until USC runs away with it.
Why would this game be on here? Two words, Teddy Bridgewater. Through two games Bridgewater is 49 – 60 576 yards. The downside is that he only has two passing touchdowns with a completion percentage of over 80. Carolina is currently 1 – 1 after a lopsided 62 – 0 win over Elon and a 28 – 27 loss to Wake Forest.
