Week 5 AP Poll released with SEC domination and Big 10 absence

The week 5 AP poll has been released and there’s two big things that stand out.

1. The SEC has 6 ranked teams and 4 are in the top 10 with Florida hovering at 11.
2. The Big 10′s highest ranked team is Michigan State at 20. (Not counting Ohio State at 14 who can’t play post season)

Notes:
Oregon moved up to assume the second spot overall after their very decisive victory over Arizona.
Oklahoma dropped out of the top 15 after losing at home to Kansas State.
Notre Dame moved up only one spot from 11 to 10 while Kansas State moved up 8 from 15 to 7.
Oregon State, while having only 2 – 0 with victories over then 13 Wisconsin and 19 UCLA is ranked.
Rutgers moves in at 4 – 0.
