West Virginia Mountaineer’s quarterback Geno Smith couldn’t miss today. Smith was an outstanding 45 of 51 for 656 yards, 8 touchdowns, and no interceptions. The day cemented Smith’s position as the Heisman favorite.

The Mountaineer’s had 3 receivers with over 100 yards each. Stedman Bailey had 303 yards receiving and 5 touchdowns,  Tavon Austin had 215 yards and 2 touchdowns, J.D. Woods had 114 yards and 1 touchdown.

Total offense for the Mountaineers? 807 yards and 12 of 15 on 3rd downs.

Somehow the Mountaineers still managed to rush for 150 yards with all of that passing offense.

    When you score 70 points and only manage to win by a touchdown, you shouldn’t be celebrating, you should be firing your defensive co-ordinator.
