While the BCS era is slowly coming to an end, it’s not over yet and we’ll have to put up with these rankings for a couple more years.

Number 1 is no surprise, but possibly number 2 is. The SEC is very well represented with Alabama, Florida, LSU, South Carolina, Georgia, and Mississippi State all in the top 15.

Big 12 – 6 teams, 1 in top 12
Pac 12 – 4 teams
Big East – 3 teams
ACC – 3 teams
Big Ten – 0
