The South Carolina Gamecocks travel to Gainesville this weekend to face the number 2 Gators and they may do so without their standout running back Marcus Lattimore. That’s not good news for Steve Spurrier’s team that is coming off of a tough loss on the road to LSU.
Josh Kendall of The State ($) reports that Lattimore, who suffered a bruise to his hip last week, may not play this week against the Gators and that Kenny Miles is expected to start in his place.
Marcus Lattimore (hip) may not play against Gators, Spurrier said. Kenny Miles expected to start.

Kenny Miles has 27 carries for 100 yards and 1 touchdown this season and the guy backing him up this week, freshman Mike Davis, has 13 carries for 117 yards and 1 touchdown.
This game against Florida could determine the Gamecocks future in the SEC East. Should they beat the Gators they will almost be assured of a spot in the SEC Championship game.
