The Oregon Ducks rolled along against Colorado, and no one expected anything different. The Ducks slipped last week in the polls from 3 to 4 after slipping from 2 to 3 the previous week despite not losing a game.
The Pac 12 has a solid pack of teams ranked but the Ducks have only faced two top 25 teams and both were ranked lower than 20th. They are also destroying everyone so badly and making it all look so easy that they haven’t been getting any real respect.
When the two polls were released today many predicted that Oregon would stay behind Kansas State and possibly be jumped by Notre Dame, but the Ducks moved back into the number 2 spot in both the AP and Coaches polls. The Ducks were jumped by Notre Dame in the BCS poll though as the Irish moved up to 3rd.
Looking ahead the Ducks will face USC, who isn’t as good as everyone thought after losing to Arizona, Stanford, and Oregon State.
