BCS Games Announced: MAC Champion Northern Illinois to play Florida State in Orange Bowl

BCS BOUND

The Northern Illinois Huskies will play in the Florida State Seminoles in the Orange Bowl.

The Huskies needed to finish in the top 16 in the BCS rankings to be eligible for a BCS bowl and they finished 15th.

They beat Kent State, who was the other BCS buster team heading into the weekend, to win the MAC and moved to 12 – 1 overall.

SEC Champions Alabama (12-1) vs. Notre Dame (12-0)
