According to Texas Longhorns head coach Mack Brown, both Case McCoy and Jordan Hicks have been reinstated to the team.
Both were suspended from the team for violating team rules and were linked in an investigation into sexual abuse in San Antonio the day before the Alamo Bowl.
“Obviously when you break team rules there’s a certain amount of trust that has been broken, and that will be addressed with further discipline,” Brown said in a statement. “That discipline will be handled within the team.”
According to Hicks lawyer Perry Minton, no charges have been filed against either Hicks or McCoy. Minton earlier relayed that Hicks “vehemently asserts that all conduct that occurred during the evening of the incident was consensual by everyone involved.”
McCoy was a backup to David Ash while Hicks was sidelined with injuries for most of the 2012 season.
