During the BCS championship game between Alabama and Notre Dame, ESPN panned the camera over to AJ McCarron’s girlfriend Katherine Webb and Brent Musburger went on to describe just how good-looking Webb is to the American public.
Musburger then had an apology issued on his behalf from ESPN, who said that he went too far. He didn’t, but whatever.
Webb is now famous and has over 270,000 followers on Twitter. She will be in the next issue of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit magazine, will be covering the Super Bowl for Inside Edition, and has basically had her career jump started by a 73-year-old man … and several screencappers … cough cough … that provided you all with the content to Google after you all heard Musburger gushing over her.
Well, ESPN gave Brent a week off after the BCS championship game and in his first game back he showed just how much he cared by stating the following:
Once again your final score Kansas 61 Baylor 44. Coming up next SportsCenter. For Fran Frascilla and Holly Rowe … WHO was really smokin tonight … I want to say so long from Lawrence.
Just watch and listen for yourself. If you hear “IT” instead of “WHO” you are buying into ESPN’s excuse.
why do teams have players with same number. There are 99 poosibilities and teams do not suit that many players. I don’t care if one is on defense and one on offense.
