Oregon Ducks head coach Chip Kelly

Oregon Ducks head coach Chip Kelly is headed to the NFL.

Not to the Browns like most thought he would, but to the Philadelphia Eagles.

After Oregon’s 35-17 Fiesta Bowl victory over Kansas State, Kelly interviewed with the Philadelphia Eagles.

ESPN’s Chris Mortensen tweeted the report:

Chip Kelly is the new coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, according to league sources. No announcement yet.

Just last week Kelly was staying in Eugene through the 2013 season. Well that didn’t happen.

Kelly led Oregon to a 46-7 record over four years and four straight BCS Bowls including the National Title game against Auburn in 2010.
