The Mississippi State Bulldogs are closing in the North endzone of Davis Wade Stadium – it’s about time. Athletic Director Scott Stricklin shared the image below on Twitter. The expansion increase the stadiums capacity from 55,000 to 61,000.
To accommodate for the demand of Mississippi State Football season tickets, plans are underway for a North End Zone expansion of Davis Wade Stadium, taking its capacity from 55,000 to over 61,000. This expansion is aimed at offering more Bulldog fans opportunity to experience game day in Starkville with various seating options. The project will break ground following the 2012 regular football season and is expected to be complete in time for the 2014 home opener against Southern Miss.
The North End Zone Stadium Expansion will include the following:
General Seating Bowl: 7,076 seats
State Level Suites: 22 New Suites
State Level Loge Seating: 236 New Seats
Scoreboard Club Seating: 1,155 New Seats
The Gridiron Field Level Club: 750 Available Memberships to sell
