Matt Elam, a 5-star recruit from John Hardin in Kentucky, received 182 letters earlier this year from the University of Kentucky. I know what you’re thinking, that’s a lot of letters and there’s no way a school could possibly send more than that to a recruit right?
Notre Dame apparently sent Elam 262 letters begging him to become a part of their football program.
At what point does it become overkill with the recruiting letters? Probably the day a recruit receives anything over ONE letter for that ONE day.
