Bill O'Brien at Penn State

Bill O’Brien after Penn State beat Navy 34-7.

The Houston Texans are rumored to be on the verge of hiring Penn State head coach Bill O’Brien, formerly the New England Patriots offensive coordinator, to replace Gary Kubiak.

O’Brien took over a program that was headed for the dumps and did quite well. If he leaves for Houston, O’Brien will finish with a 15-9 record in his two seasons at Penn State.

Who could replace O’Brien at Penn State?

Shortlist: James Franklin, Dan Mullen, and anyone who likes a project.
