We all know what a horrendous display the LSU Tigers put on in New Orleans on January 9th against Alabama, and we all heard what Bobby Hebert had to say about it afterwards. As a matter of fact, we heard about it for a few days because Hebert wouldn’t shut up. Granted, his son plays for the Tigers and probably should have seen the field, and Bobby had some legitimate points about Jordan Jefferson being in the game too long without at least giving Jarrett Lee a shot, but Bobby also acted very unprofessional and took time away from many media members who deserved his spot in the question line-up.
Well here’s what happens when you act like Bobby and your team plays like Les Miles’ team did, someone takes a shot at you at Mardi Gras.
This is Le Krewe d’Etat, they are known for taking shots and poking fun where it needs to be poked and, just like the float says, Telling It Like It Is.
They’ve brought us gold.
First up, we have Bobby himself with a few quotes.
After Bobby, we have a nice “Put me in coach” quote signifying that maybe Jarrett Lee should have seen the field.
Of course, who could forget the 13 and 1 record. SMH
Along with the wonderful expression on Les Miles face and the quote with Lee again.
Probably the best part is that these are all mostly LSU fans, and they still don’t look very happy about not crossing the 50 yard line.
And to top it off? Nick Saban wearing a Superman “S” on his chest and holding up a crystal ball!
Bravo Krewe d’Etat. Bravo!
