Stephen Lee, who is an Assistant Coach and Quarterbacks coach at West Texas A&M, was interviewed by WAFB. Lee discussed his son’s desire to stay at LSU even after telling him that his best chance to start may be somewhere else, his feelings on returning to Texas to play against Oregon in Cowboy’s Stadium in front of friends and family, and Les Miles decision to not put him in the BCS championship game at any point among other things.

Lee was nothing but a class act throughout the interview, and said about Jefferson’s return and entrance into the Kentucky game, “it was a calculated decision” for Les Miles to insert him into the lineup after his return to the team, and that “it’s his (Miles) prerogative to make those decisions”.

He also comments on the ad that was placed in the Baton Rouge paper thanking Jarrett for his commitment to the LSU Tigers football team.

Classy interview. Unfortunate that Coach MIles has not been classy to admit his error in not giving Lee his opportunity to win and ultimately give LSU a chance to WIN the BCS-NC! Lee contributed more to LSU's 13 win season than Jefferson! Thanks for Loving Purple and Living Gold!
