Arkansas is having a pretty rough month.

After firing Bobby Petrino for lying about an undisclosed relationship with Jessica Dorrell and biker babe Alison Melder, Arkansas didn’t need anything else to happen this month other than Jeff Long announcing an interim coach. Of course, it can’t be that simple for the Razorbacks.
ArkansasSports360, along with many other outlets, reported the arrest of linebacker Tyler Gilbert. Some may say Gilbert is just a backup, and while that’s true, it’s just another bad media day for Arkansas SID.
Arkansas linebacker Tyler Gilbert has been arrested on a charge of aggravated burglary and theft of property
According to a report by the Fayetteville Police Department, Gilbert, Jesse Booker and Ryan Graves late last Thursday evening kicked down the apartment door belonging to a fraternity brother of Booker’s and proceeded to take items out of the residence.
The victim, Mbato Nkwocha, also told police that Booker had struck him in the right cheek with a crowbar.
Police took into evidence a DVD produced by Nkwocha’s roommate containing partial video footage of the dispute taken from a cellphone camera. Police say they could hear what sounded like a physical altercation, but were unable to see anything.
Items listed as stolen include a purple and gold Omega Psi Phi banner, camouflage military clothing, a plastic purple and gold “Jason” hockey mask, two dog collars and and four $20 bills.
Acting head coach Taver Johnson said through a spokesman that Gilbert has been “suspended indefinitely.”
Gilbert was arrested and booked at 11:19 a.m. on Tuesday.
All Razorback fans can ask for right now is some peace and quiet.
