17th hole at Augusta National without the Eisenhower Tree

Mark Immelman, the brother of Masters winner Trevor Immelman, snapped this picture of the 17th hole at Augusta National. One thing missing is the Eisenhower Tree. The tree was lost, we told you this, after Georgia suffered quite a few brutal storms in a row.

It just doesn’t look right. I’m guessing that since the Masters isn’t that far off, the club won’t be replacing the tree with anything before the tournament starts, but then again, maybe they will.

The Tweet from Immelman has since been taken down because those running the Masters probably got mad at him for sharing the information. Prudes.
