The Raiders are making history in the NFL playoffs

History will be made in the Oakland Raiders playoff game against the Houston Texans. Oakland’s rookie quarterback Connor Cook will become the first signal-caller in the Super Bowl era to make his NFL debut in a playoff game. Things rarely go well when a team is forced to use a backup QB, especially in the playoffs. Since 1966, there have only been 86 playoff games where a team’s primary passer was not the same as the team’s usual QB from the regular season.
